The Contract Lifecycle Manager manages an enterprise-wide Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution (including a Supplier Registration Portal), leading the CLM project team.  S/he must have proven project management and contract management/legal operations experience.  The Contract Lifecycle Manager works closely with cross-departmental stakeholders, supporting the implementation, maintenance, population, and enhancements of the Conga CLMS.  In addition to maintaining the CLMS, the role performs various related legal operations functions within the organization.  This manager must be collaborative, extremely organized/methodical, results-driven, and have exceptional communication skills and robust time management skills.


·         Lead efforts in partnership with cross-department stakeholders to drive the comprehensive implementation, testing, population and maintenance of a new Conga CLM system, including scoping, design, configuration, data migration, UAT, validation, training, and all related logistics

·         Implement process workflows for various departments based on departmental needs and system settings/parameters, while driving related change management efforts based on Company need

·         Manage all aspects of system administration as its super user following implementation (e.g. CLMS vendor SLA, troubleshooting, user credentials/profiles, batching, security, updates, audits)

·         Manage the CLM repository functionality and oversee strategic waves of data migration, including importing legacy contracts, quality control of metadata, linking associated documents, and handling ongoing audit efforts

·         Develop and manage CLM technical training program (e.g. develop, deliver, and publish CLM training materials, resources/guidelines and manuals to support CLM end users)

·         Oversight of contract review status and management of CLM review “Queue” and other workflows to ensure timely completion of actions by attorneys and business stakeholders

·         Manage and monitor system analytics and reporting functionality on a go-forward basis, including facilitation of system generated contract abstracts and monitoring of deadlines, as necessary

·         Work with stakeholders to design, generate and customize CLM reports, tickler/reminders, and dashboards to meet business needs and drive internal KPIs

·         Manage “Contracts Inbox” (and contract intake through this interim repository) and lead quarterly contracts audit to track contract statuses/key metrics

·         Drive various company strategic initiatives and service on various committees from a legal operations/logistics perspective (e.g. MDM, legal “Hub”, training)

·         Assist with other projects and initiatives, and support the long-term contract needs of the legal department, procurement function, and the organization at large


·         BS/BA degree in related discipline (e.g. Legal, business, project management), JD preferred

·         At least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a CLM systems administrator or manager, preferably in a corporate inhouse legal department (or as a systems administrator or manager of other similar business applications)

·         Experience with developing and implementing system driven workflows and designing, implementing and driving successful change management

·         Proven ability to manage multiple projects to conclusion, on time/budget, and without compromise to quality of work output

·         Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to get into the details of complex problems and drive creative solutions

·         Excellent organizational, interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams both throughout the organization and with external business partners
